On Odoo, the processes that move first are the ones that already live there and still depend on someone applying a rule by hand. In our plant, the review of purchases against standard cost already runs. Other possible candidates, depending on your operation, are bank reconciliation, validation of supplier CFDI e-invoices and collections follow-up. Which Odoo processes can be moved with AI agents?

An Odoo process is a good candidate when it has exposed margin, makes a repeatable decision and has a named owner. These are the filters we use to choose any first process; what to automate first shows how each one is applied.

Odoo adds an advantage: the data is already captured. Receipts, supplier invoices, payments and customer balances are already recorded. What is usually missing is someone reviewing all of them, and on time. Where that happens, there is a candidate:

• Purchases against standard cost. Every receiving line is compared against what it should have cost. It is the one already running in our plant; the details are below.
• Bank reconciliation. Bank transactions against what is recorded in Odoo, with the differences set apart so your accountant decides what to do with each one.
• CFDI validation. That the supplier's invoice matches the purchase order and what came into the warehouse before the payment is scheduled.
• Collections. With the balances and payment history already in Odoo, the agent prepares who to reach first and with what information. The call and the agreement remain your team's.

The last three are candidates, not measured results. Which one fits your company is decided by its weight in the P&L. In all of them, the agent reviews and flags; the decision belongs to a person on your team.

What already works on a real Odoo?

In purchasing, differences were reconciled by hand, weeks after the material had already arrived. We measured it first in our own plant, on our Odoo: today 100% of receiving lines are checked against standard cost. The review no longer arrives weeks late: it happens every week.

In the same plant, the catalog carried 342 items with corrupted price and hierarchy, and they were discovered when quoting. Today the catalog validates itself on import: 342 corrupted records down to zero, and DWG drawing coverage went from 78% to 98%.

Both figures measure coverage and errors, so they mean the same thing in a company of any size. Your number in pesos comes from your own business case.

How long until the first agent reaches production?

The timeline runs on a single process. Several at once split the owner's attention and make it hard to tell what produced each result. Having the data already live in your Odoo helps: you don't have to start by capturing it.

Do you have to change your Odoo?

No. AI connects to your current systems, Odoo included, and we don't change your ERP to sell a new layer on top. Your Odoo keeps the configuration it has and whoever supports it today; what gets added are agents that work on the data you already capture.

The same applies outside the ERP.
